This was actually one of JenyBean’s first sewing projects for herself when she was still in high school. When BAAF 2002 rolled around, and I had nothing to wear, I begged her to lend it to me, as I had wanted a Chun Li costume ever since I was in the 8 th grade. Jeny not only lent it to me, but informed me after the con that I was welcome to keep it.
The costume itself is perfect, though I had to buy the spiked bracelets, and the first con I wore it to, I wore white knee socks because I didn’t own any boots. I have since purchased a pair of white PVC, high heeled boots, and I’m dying to wear them out.
