You can read on the Very Merry Unbirthday photoshoot page why I decided to have a mini tea party for my 27th birthday, but the short version is I decided I wanted a tea party, and that I wanted my friends to wear EGL dresses to it.  I wanted to wear my pink dress, since I hadn't taken pictures in it yet, and I knew Skye would need to borrow one (Hime-chan already had her own).  But Skye doesn't like red, and I was already claiming the pink, and I figured my white dress would get a little lost with no other colors in it.  I had been yearning for a blue dress anyway, so I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone and treat myself to one for my birthday that Skye could borrow for the party.  We researched all the blue EGL dresses eBay had to offer in September, and between the two of us, decided this was the prettiest out of a very pretty lot.
