A few years ago a friend of mine had posted a picture of a beautiful olive green lolita dress, I believe by Mary Magdalene, in her LiveJournal that I had saved to my work computer's hard drive so that I could buy it the next time I needed a new dress and had some spare cash. A word of advice, Mary Magdalene switches out their stock fairly regularly, and by the time I had the money, it was gone.

As Thanksgiving 2009 approached I knew I wanted a dress just like it, and while browsing eBay in October I thought I had found it, but as I had started a new job between the time I saw the first dress and then, I didn't have the picture to compare. I was so excited, though, that I hit Buy It Now before I could be sure. As luck would have it, it wasn't quite the dress of my dreams, but it's still very pretty. If I ever see the dress I originally had in mind I might switch them out, but for now this one is just fine.
