I'd really like at least one EGL dress in every color, but I *especially* wanted one in red, because it's my favorite color. And when I saw this dress, it looked as if it were made for me, it was just so perfect! The seller was incredibly nice, as well, and tried her hardest to have this dress overnighted to me so I could have it in time for a holiday EGL shoot at Pratt University. Sadly, the post office screwed up our best laid plans, so I didn't get to wear this dress to an "official" event until Otakon 2010...nearly six years later.

Would you believe the umbrella, gloves, and fan were all purchased separately? They just ended up matching on their own. Must've been meant to be! Oh, and this is also one of the few times when I had a makeup concept in my head, and it ended up turning out exactly the way I pictured it. Very satisfying.
