New York Comic Con 2006

February 25

Chun Li

I'm going to deviate from my usual style again here, as there are FAR more pictures (Louis took as many individual pictures of the individual contest entrants as he could before his arms gave out) then I could possibly come up with commentary for. But as a brief background, Terry AKA Doc the Stampede was asked to head up the anime/manga portion of the New York Comic Con, and he asked Ranma to run the costume competition, and Ranma asked me to emcee the morning portion of the contest. All in all I had a really great time, even though I didn't get to meet Kevin Smith.

There was a booth that was showing of the prototype of a new Chun Li figure! So they asked me to pose with it.
I've got to get this figure myself!
A closeup of the figure.
Chun Li's so cute!

Chun Li VS Ranma Saotome: FIGHT!
Stephane, the man running the Organic booth at the NYCC, took these, and was kind enough to forward them to me!
I did so enjoy posing for them, I hope I get to work with them in the future!
