Did I say I wasn't supposed to buy anything new in 2017? I did, didn't I. And I had just bought a new EGL dress not a few months before, hadn't I? What possible excuse could I have for buying YET ANOTHER Lolita dress so soon?

Well, Otakon announced there was going to be a Lolita Tea Garden, and all of my friends decided we MUST attend. And I couldn't wear one I had *just* worn, could I? (Shush.) So I started looking for miko-inspired Lolita dresses (because I had originally been thinking of wearing my miko robes on Friday instead), and accidentally happened upon this gorgeous creation on eBay. And after one particularly rotten day/week, I caved. Whatever, I have no regrets; the dress is even more gorgeous in person than it is in photos.

And after all that, Otakon turned the Tea Garden into just a Garden, so we threw our own tea party in the restaurant in my hotel, which was even *more* fun. When life hands you lemons...add them to your tea!
