Prior to Otakon 2006, Mauryanna and Avian Firefly's cosplay group, Outer Power Inner Beauty, went through a few cast changes. Their usual lovely Mars (coincidentally enough, also named Chrissy!) was regretfully unable to attend Otakon due to college conflicts, so Maury and Avi kindly invited me to fill in for her that summer. I hesitated for a little while, as I'm usually the kiss of death for any group I join (heh) but the lure of having a full cast for group photos was entirely too strong to resist. Avi offered to make me a new Sailor Mars fuku out of the same materials the rest of the group was using to make theirs so we'd all match, and I gratefully took her up on it.

Sadly, due to a number of mishaps, I didn't get down to Baltimore in time for the Outer Power Inner Beauty shoot on Friday afternoon, so I don't have any full cast photos to go with this outfit. Next time, next time!
