As I mentioned on my Tohru cosplay page, I bought this school uniform from Milanoo in the summer of 2010, because OPIB was planning Fruits Basket cosplay for our next Otakon adventure, but I also wanted to wear it as Tohru for Patti and Steph.  The great thing about school uniforms is that they can usually be used to cosplay many different characters, so I just put my hair in a braid and wore black socks instead of navy socks, and voilà!  Instant Hana-chan.

A few minor modifications were made by Patti and Steph to make this costume better since the last time I wore it; the tie that came with the costume was too short for us to figure out how to tie it, so they cut it off and sewed it on.  The snaps that held the white faux-undershirt in place were a little loose (and I'm a little rough) so they sewed them back on, and the skirt's waistband was a little big (yay!) so they took it in for me.
