This was a shoot done, as strange as this may sound, to celebrate my 24th birthday. The owner of the Kimono House, Yumiko, let me rent a gorgeous furisode at half-price, and then helped me, Serene (Usagi Seion) and JenyBean get ready, so that we could go to Washington Square Park and have David Ng photograph us. Most of the poses were suggested by Dave, and even though it was a rather cold day, and we were battling the fading daylight, the kimono we were wearing managed to make these shots truly works of art.
