This was another of those "last minute costume ideas". I wasn't very well prepared for BAAF 2003. About two weeks before the con, I realized that I needed a costume for Saturday. About a week and a half before the con, I bought this costume off of eBay. It turned out, the seller had originally bought it from Setsuna Kou! So at least I knew the quality was going to be good.

For a last minute costume, it came out looking very well. It fits well enough, I can use my natural hair (I don't even have to get it straightened!), and believe it or not that's the same headband I use for Tifa's scrunchie! Also, the first time I wore it out, Louis let me borrow his camcorder to pose with, so I looked pretty cute.

Nevertheless, I doubt I'll be wearing this costume much more. For one thing, after I washed it, I had a hard time getting the tie to lie correctly. For another, I'm not *that* big a fan of Tomoyo that I want to be her, do all of her costumes, etc. I finally got pictures of it wearing the black turtleneck underneath, so I'm pretty happy about that, so from now on, this costume is only coming out if requested.
