A while ago I had torn a nail polish ad out of a magazine because I really liked the anarchist-punk look the model was sporting, and thought it would be a good inspiration for a very urban-themed shoot for me and some of my other New York City-living friends, particularly one of my best friends, Skye. However, due to wedging this shoot in at the first opportunity in March, we couldn't get any other ladies to join us, and since it decided to blizzard the day before, we definitely couldn't take any pictures in an urban setting outside. So we're saving the "City Girls" title and setting for another day, and this shoot evolved into a study of two best friends who appeared to be total opposites on the outside, but really share the same heart.
